How do I know pilots are actually qualified?

Every pilot undergoes admin verification before their profile goes live. We review uploaded licenses, medical certificates, and ratings. Pilots with expired or invalid credentials are flagged and cannot accept flights.

Pilots who cancel without valid reasons (weather, mechanical issues, emergencies) receive negative reviews that impact their profile visibility. You can also search for backup pilots instantly if needed.

Absolutely! Once you find a pilot you trust, you can directly assign them to future flights without going through the search process again. Many owners build long-term relationships with 2–3 contract pilots

Pilots set their own rates, but you can message them to discuss complex trips (international, multi-day, unusual aircraft). Most pilots are open to negotiation for repeat customers.

Daily rates typically cover the pilot’s time and expertise. You (the aircraft owner) are responsible for fuel, insurance, hangar fees, hotels, meals, and transportation — just like any contract pilot arrangement.
